Pre-purchase yacht surveys

Every survey report includes a detailed inspection of the perspective's purchase yacht on condition of:
External and Internal Hull , Decks & Superstructure, Propulsion, Exhaust Systems, Fuel Systems, Electrical Installations, Plumbing Systems, Sea Water Systems, Bilge Pumping, Equipment, On Deck Equipment, Fire Fighting, Life Saving Appliances, Gas Installations, Description of Layout, Sea Trial and the surveyor gives finally his opinion with Conclusion & Valuation, Recommendations & Explanations.

Insurance Surveys

Insurance survey is basically performed for getting the vessel's fair market value.
Also it can determine whether or not the vessel's condition is under an acceptable risk for any underwriter. This type of inspection is usually required by Insurance Companies prior to issuing cover and it is required by Financing and Mortgage Institutions.
Most insurance companies require an insurance survey for older yachts.

Damage Surveys

The surveyor will carry out a thorough examination and report on the resulting condition of the vessel, the probable cause of the damage, also provide ideas on how recommended repairs can be performed, and finally a cost estimation of such repairs. This will require liaising with the client, boat yards or repairers and transportation specialists.
Upon your request, we can provide the supervision of the repair works.
